Explora Journeys Unveils “Grand Journeys” for 2025-26

Explora Journeys has shared details of its “Grand Journeys” collection for 2025-26. The itineraries will visit lesser-traveled destinations such as the Azores and Madeira, paired with immersive onshore experiences that delve deep into local heritage and culture. 

New for 2025 are the one-week “Ocean Wellness” retreats, offering guests a chance to restore balance with programs such as Chakra Healing Meditation and Ocean-inspired Gong Baths under the stars. The rituals of Ocean Wellness – The Spa combine treatments, fitness and beauty, ensuring a comprehensive rejuvenation experience.

Guests can also enjoy an enhanced program of performances, workshops and conservation sessions, ranging from live music by local artists to guided arts and crafts workshops. As part of the ongoing Luminaries program, guests can experience wildlife watching and conservation sessions.

Highlights of “Grand Journeys” for 2025-26 include:

  • The 22-day itinerary “From Caribbean Coves to Iberian Charms” (March 7–28, 2025) sails from San Juan to Lisbon onboard Explora II includes visits to Gustavia, St. John’s and Funchal 
  • The 21-day itinerary “From Bomba Carib Beaches to Castanets of Spain” (March 14 to April 3, 2025) sails from Miami to Barcelona onboard Explora II includes visits to San Juan, St. John’s and Funchal 
  • The 17-day “Bridging America, Azore Isles & Catalonia” (April 2–18, 2025) itinerary from Miami to Barcelona onboard Explora I includes visits to King’s Wharf, Horta, Faial Island and Valencia
  • The 14-day itinerary “From Andalusian Shores to Coral-Laden Lagoons” (October 27 to November 9, 2025) sails from Barcelona to San Juan onboard Explora I, and includes visits to Funchal, St. John’s and Road Town 
  • The 17-day itinerary “From Levely Latin Charm & Tropical Delights to Modernist Marvels” (March 9–25, 2026) sails from Miami to Barcelona onboard Explora I, and includes visits to Philipsburg, Arecife, Lanzarote and Gibraltar

Every Grand Journey is defined by inclusions such as a chilled bottle of champagne upon arrival, unlimited complimentary Wi-Fi, the choice of nine inclusive restaurants, twice-daily housekeeping, and all onboard gratuities. Suites range from 376 to 3,013 square feet and all have oceanfront terraces. Guests can also enjoy an enriched culinary program; highlights include dining at Anthology, Sakura and Fil Rouge, as well as new guided tastings of champagne, wine, gin, whisky and cognac, alongside extended gourmet menus. Culinary enthusiasts can also participate in hands-on workshops and fine dining experiences at the Chef’s Kitchen.
