Viking Adds 10 New Ocean Itineraries in 2026 and 2027

Viking has announced 10 new ocean itineraries exploring the Mediterranean, United Kingdom, Ireland and Northern Europe in 2026 and 2027. Now available for booking, the new itineraries range from eight to 22 days and visit 12 additional recurring ports that are new for Viking ocean voyages: Fowey, England; Bordeaux, France; Limerick (Foynes), Ireland; Riga, Latvia; Klaipeda, Lithuania; Londonderry, Northern Ireland; Haugesund, Norway; Palma de Mallorca and Bilbao, Spain; Fort William and Tobermory, Scotland; and Karlskrona, Sweden.

Viking’s new ocean voyages visit destinations throughout Europe and include the following, with additional combination voyages also available:

  • “Amalfi Coast, Africa & Iberia,” an eight-day itinerary between Rome and Barcelona, offered in 2026 and 2027, sails through the southern Mediterranean as travelers explore the ports and cities of Italy, Tunisia and Spain.
  • “Spain & Portugal Discovery,” an eight-day itinerary between Lisbon and Barcelona, offered in 2026 and 2027, includes destinations such as Andalusia, Seville, Málaga, Palma de Mallorca and Tangier.
  • “Iberia, France & England Explorer,” a 12-day itinerary between Lisbon and London, offered in 2026 and 2027, explores the wine-rich region of Bordeaux, Bilbao with its Guggenheim Museum and the Thames River.
  • “Scandinavian Discovery,” an eight-day itinerary between Oslo and Stockholm, offered in 2027, will call at the UNESCO World Heritage City of Karlskrona and offer a glimpse into Sweden’s maritime legacy. Other highlights include Copenhagen, Åland Islands, an archipelago of 6,700 isles, and an overnight stay in Stockholm.
  • “Baltic Discovery,” an eight-day itinerary between Stockholm and Copenhagen, offered in 2027, explores the UNESCO-listed cities of Tallinn and Riga, medieval gems of the Hanseatic League. Travelers will also visit Klaipėda, Lithuania’s historic port city on the Curonian coast.
  • “Nordic Wonders,” an eight-day itinerary between Oslo and Bergen, will be offered in 2027. It will explore the coastlines of Norway and Denmark, sailing through scenic landscapes, along majestic fjords and winding mountain passes.
  • “British Isles & Ireland,” a 15-day itinerary between London and Belfast, offered in 2027, visits the shores of Cornwall and Scotland. Highlights include the historic Scottish ports of Greenock and Tobermory, Fort William and the ancient city of Limerick with the King John Castle on the banks of the Shannon River.
  • “Scandinavia & Baltic Capitals,” a 15-day itinerary between Oslo and Copenhagen, offered in 2027, includes Tallinn, Riga, Karlskrona, Åland Islands, and overnights in Sweden and Denmark.
  • “Scenic Scandinavia & Baltic Jewels,” a 15-day itinerary between Bergen and Stockholm, offered in 2027, delves into the maritime heritage of Scandinavia, tracing the dramatic coastlines of Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Travelers will witness stunning natural landscapes as they sail amid fjords and the Åland Islands. Overnight stays include Oslo and Stockholm.
  • “Icons of the Viking Age,” a 22-day itinerary between Bergen and Copenhagen, offered in 2027, circumnavigates the Baltic Sea as travelers explore the deep-rooted cultural ties of Scandinavia, calling at Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Other highlights include Åland Islands, Tallinn and Riga.
