The Beach Club at The Boca Raton Reopens After $130 Million Redesign

The Beach Club at The Boca Raton in South Florida has reopened following a $130 million redesign. The project encompassed the property’s 210 guestrooms and suites, some with outdoor terraces, as well as new restaurants, refreshed arrival experience and lobby with new cocktail lounge & café, new fitness facility and oceanside event spaces. This marks the second phase of The Boca Raton’s overall $375 million transformation. The first phase was completed in early 2023, which redesigned Harborside’s offerings and amenities, including Tower hotel, and over 12 restaurants and lounges.

Now with three times as many suites, Beach Club’s largest abodes include the Grand Suite + Lanai with one or two bedrooms that flow into private outdoor poolside living spaces with lounge seating.

On the dining side, The Beach Club has introduced new restaurants and lounges, plus more casual settings; this includes a collaboration with Michelin-award-winning chef and raw bar expert Johnny Spero at Marisol restaurant. Located in a newly designed indoor-outdoor setting with a covered terrace, Marisol serves up fresh Mediterranean fare highlighting fresh seafood delivered daily by local fishermen.

Onda, Beach Club’s new sand-side restaurant offers outdoor dining inspired by coastal destinations. In its first season, Onda has partnered with Executive Chef Adriano Venturini of Eden Roc Cap Cana, the Dominican Republic’s only Relais & Châteaux hotel, to create a range of dishes. At one side of Onda sits Sand Bar, an open-air gathering spot for creative refreshments. Additional spots to enjoy include Living Room with its outdoor terrace; it serves aperitifs, light bites and gourmet coffee.

As far as activities, guests can relax on the beach or enjoy ocean adventures such as surfing and pedal kayaking or take a dip in three pools. Or, they can opt for a day at the Cabana Club by Vilebrequin, a collection of pool cabanas designed in partnership with Saint-Tropez swimwear brand Vilebrequin. Guests can, alternatively, enjoy an afternoon excursion along the Intracoastal aboard Sorbetto, Beach Club’s Fiat 500 boat.

Waterside adventures await the youngest guests and members, as well, at Banyan Bunch Beachside, a children’s program complete with fun amenities and educational activations designed around discovery and nature. A new space for teens and pre-teens, Game Loft is a social haven offering Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox Series X and VR headsets loaded with the latest titles, balanced with classic activities such as table shuffleboard and billiards.

In addition to experiences at the Beach Club, a stay provides access to The Boca Raton’s four-acre Harborside Pool Club. Just a five-minute water taxi across the Intracoastal, the resort offers golf, tennis, pickleball, wellness experiences at Spa Palmera, as well as three pools, water slides, a floating river, and more.
