Grand Hotel Fasano to Reopen for 2025 Season With Fresh Look

Grand Hotel Fasano, set on the shores of Lake Garda in Italy, will reopen for the 2025 season on April 4 with a host of new offerings for guests, including new suites, a fully renovated spa and new menus across the property’s restaurants.

Grand Hotel Fasano—a member of The Leading Hotels of the World and the former hunting lodge of the royal house of Habsburg—will unveil four new suites, located in a newly built wing of the hotel directly above and connected to the AQVA Spa by elevator. Sporting a fresh and contemporary décor with warm tones and custom-made furniture, two of the nearly 970-square-foot suites can be connected to executive rooms to provide a accommodations well-suited for families and groups. Offering king sized bed and additional sofa bed, lake-view balcony, a separate living area and a bathroom equipped with freestanding bathtub, shower and double vanity, the suites can accommodate up to four people. In-room amenities include coffee machine, mini bar, luxury toiletries, and more.

The 135-year-old retreat Grand Hotel Fasano recently unveiled its completely renovated AQVA Spa and Wellness Centre, as well. Alongside its treatment rooms, the spa now offers an expansive indoor and outdoor swimming pool connected via tunnel passage, hydromassage, sauna, Turkish baths, gym and a spa garden on the lake.

Beyond, fine dining restaurant Il Fagiano was awarded a Michelin star in 2024 in recognition of a menu that combines flavors and ingredients from Italy’s northern and southern regions. In 2025, diners can choose from a selection of tasting experiences with wine and cocktail pairings or opt for the à la carte menu. At Trattoria Il Pescatore, guests can enjoy waterfront views while savoring Mediterranean cuisine. Classic southern European flavors are fused with global influences across an à la carte menu and five-course tasting menu. 

Magnolia restaurant, alternatively, provides an al fresco lunchtime dining experience set beneath the shade of 200-year-old Magnolia trees and serves an array of Italian delicacies. Guests can also enjoy all-day dining, snacks, sweet treats and cocktails on a terrace overlooking the lake at La Terrazza, while Rama’s Lounge Bar awaits for an evening aperitivo.
