The Lytle Park Hotel in downtown Cincinnati has unveiled its fully transformed Taft Suite. Designed by ForrestPerkins, the hotel’s Presidential Suite pays homage to the city’s history and the illustrious Taft family, whose most famous member served as the 27th president of the United States.
Situated at the Northwest corner of the building, the 1,400-square-foot Taft Suite is bathed in natural light thanks to 10 windows, including a Palladian feature window, framing views of the adjacent Lytle Park and Ohio River.
The Taft Suite at The Lytle Park Hotel comprises a primary bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and wet room, a powder room, living room and a dining room that seats eight people. Guests also have the option to connect to an additional King room for extra space. The suite is equipped with sleep masks, essential oils for a restful night’s sleep, a selection of library books and more. To elevate the experience, guests will be assigned a Hotel Ambassador, dedicated to handling personal requests, from restaurant reservations and city tours to purchasing tickets for local events, arranging car service, airline bookings, in-room spa therapy and more.
The Presidential Suite is named after the Taft family, a cornerstone of Cincinnati’s history, including Charles Phelps Taft and his wife Anna Sinton Taft, who were both great benefactors to the city and known for their world travels and extensive art collections. Their home, now the Taft Museum of Art, stands adjacent to The Lytle Park Hotel.
Opened in 2020, and designed by ForrestPerkins, The Lytle Park Hotel, part of Autograph Collection, is a collaboration between two historic buildings and the Lytle Park just outside its doors. The property has 105 oversized guestrooms, including 18 two-bedroom suites, over 11,000 square feet of versatile meeting and event space, the Subito restaurant, the Lobby Bar and Vista, the city’s only four-season rooftop bar and event space offering views of Lytle Park, downtown Cincinnati and the Ohio River.
