Anantara Hotels & Resorts has unveiled its first property in India, Anantara Jewel Bagh Jaipur in the state of Rajasthan.
Serving as a gateway to the city’s cultural attractions, the hotel has 150 rooms and suites overlooking the inner courtyard or the city. Rooms are available across several categories including Premier, Deluxe, Deluxe Family Rooms and more. The 753-square-foot Jewel Bagh One-Bedroom Suite comes with a separate living room with window beds, perfect for curling up with a book and a cup of tea after a day of exploration. The private terrace of the 700-square-foot Anantara One-Bedroom Terrace Suite has a jacuzzi and outdoor dining with panoramic views. The Presidential Two-Bedroom Suite spans 1,862 square feet.
F&B options include the signature restaurant Sheesh Mahal, which serves local and international cuisines, alongside craft cocktails. Amrit Mahal, the all-day dining venue, is a family-friendly space with an open kitchen, perfect for casual meals indoors or outside by the pool. Additionally, Rajputana Chowk offers specialty coffees, handpicked teas and lemonades served in a setting reminiscent of traditional marketplaces. Guests can also try Designer Dining by Anantara. Throughout the night, four courses, prepared by a private chef are served by a butler at four different venues.
The hotel’s wellness offerings include a 24/7 fitness center and the Anantara Spa, complete with a beauty salon and five treatment rooms. Signature offerings range from the Pao Ya fire therapy to couples’ treatments. Daily yoga sessions are also available.

Anantara Jewel Bagh Jaipur offers a collection of signature experiences, both on- and off-property. These include the Royal Heritage Art Walk led by a resident artist, exploring hand-painted murals and mosaics of the Rang Mahal ballroom within the hotel. This is followed by a private session where participants create their own work of art. Guests can also participate in the Spice Spoons cooking class, which starts at a local market and ends with a traditional meal.
Guests can, alternatively, book a “Private Safari and Heritage Tour” to Ranthambore National Park to spot Bengal tigers and other wildlife. Afterwards, a tour of the Ranthambore Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is followed by a picnic overlooking the wilderness. At the cultural village of Chokhi Dhani, pottery-making and turban-tying classes led by skilled artisans are paired with folk performances and a traditional feast. Guests can also explore Amber Fort during a private tour.
