Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahar has opened its doors to welcome guests. Located in the capital city’s historic Quartier l’Océan on the shores of the Atlantic, the hotel is an ideal base from which to explore the city’s mix of cultures, architecture, cuisine and the arts. Much of the modern capital and historic city was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012.
Sprawled across 12 acres, the hotel’s 200 guestrooms and suites are spread across several modern and historic buildings with either ocean or garden views and most including either a furnished balcony or terrace. Select accommodations also offer a private plunge pool. Highlights include the Turquoise Ocean View Suite with its large living room, dining suite and furnished balcony; the three-bedroom Moulay Slimane Presidential Suite complete with a fitness room, office, media room and kitchenette; and the two-story Sultan’s Riad, offering more than 10,000 square feet of space, including a rooftop ocean-view infinity pool.
The hotel will soon add the brand’s complimentary children’s program, Kids For All Seasons, in a facility that includes an outdoor garden. Families will also appreciate the options for expanded suites and connecting rooms throughout the hotel.
Four Seasons Hotel Rabat’s F&B establishments include Brasserie Marie, a Parisian-style bistro where guests can enjoy grilled meats, fresh seafood and more for lunch and dinner, either indoors or out on the patio; Flamme restaurant, which serves hearty Moroccan-spiced breads, pizzas and other baked dishes for breakfast and lunch; Noora Lobby Lounge, serving afternoon tea with a pastry counter that is open morning until late evening; and Bar Atlantique, which offers both the classics and mixologist interpretations of the latest global trends.
Later this year, Four Seasons will debut another signature concept at Verdello, offering a culinary tour of the Mediterranean’s famous coastal cuisines. Also opening later this year is the Laila Lounge, a club-like establishment hidden within the Palace’s oldest building and serving a connoisseur’s cocktail menu including rare cognacs and whiskeys.
The Spa and Wellness Centre, opening later this year, is highlighted by an indoor pool. Therapists will offer a menu of wellness rituals, healing therapies and treatments in 10 rooms and a Moroccan hammam. Spa treatments can currently be enjoyed in a temporary space or in the privacy of one’s room or suite. Other facilities include an on-site beauty salon, barber shop, a 24/7 fitness center with ocean views, an outdoor yoga studio and two outdoor pools.
Easily reached via Rabat-Salé Airport (RBA) or from Casablanca, just 45 minutes by high speed train or 90 minutes by car, the hotel is extending a “Grand Opening Offer” with 15 percent savings on the regular room rate.
