Twinpalms Hotels & Resorts has announced the expansion of its portfolio with the opening of Twinpalms Bangtao Phuket Tented Resort along Bangtao Beach on Phuket’s West Coast.
Just an hour’s flight from Bangkok, Twinpalms Bangtao Phuket Tented Resort, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, comprises 28 one- and two-bedroom, adults-only luxury tents. At the heart of the camp, an expansive Tented Lounge offers a communal indoor-outdoor space where guests can, among other options, savor cocktails around a campfire at night. An outdoor deck overhangs the tropical lagoon lake with views of the tranquil setting.
Located on the beach, the one-bedroom Beach Tents offer privacy with views over the Andaman Sea. The air conditioned tents have a private balcony, king-sized four-poster beds, living spaces and oversized bathrooms equipped with a rain shower and dual sinks, while the Beach Pool Tent includes a private plunge pool. A few feet beyond the shore, nestled amidst a landscaped garden, the property offers one- and two-bedroom Lagoon Tents, 16 of which come with private plunge pools. All of these tents have a stocked minibar, 24-hour host and personalized butler service.
The Spa Tent at Twinpalms Bangtao Phuket Tented Resort invites guests to connect with nature and enjoy bespoke treatments from expert therapists. The Spa Tent combines contemporary Thai healing therapies with organic products and traditional techniques to soothe the body and mind. All treatments can be availed individually or as a couple.
The resort location places guests within a "stone’s throw" from a selection of beach clubs and dining destinations. Complimentary buggy and shuttle services are available to transport guests between all venues—which include Catch Beach Club, serving lunch, Sunday brunch and Friday night BBQ, accompanied by DJ sets in the evening; The Lazy Coconut with its infinity pool and fresh fruit cocktails, beers, wines or champagnes accompanied by “Surf and Turf” style dishes; and Kalido, which serves seafood, fine wines and craft cocktails.
Daily activities at the Twinpalms Bangtao Phuket Tented Resort include sunrise meditation and yoga, lotus petals folding art, mango tasting experience, chime hanging and campfire gathering. Guests can also explore nearby islands of Phuket on a selection of motor yachts and powerboats. Day trips to the clear waters around Koh Racha Phang Nga Bay and Koh Phi Phi offer ample snorkeling, scuba diving and kayaking opportunities during the day, alongside sunset and overnight excursions.
