Oetker Collection has announced the upcoming opening of a new "Masterpiece Hotel" in Saint-Tropez, created in partnership with owners the Pariente and Essebag families. The yet-to-be-named hotel is set to debut in 2027. Conceptualized as a hamlet, the property will comprise several small, two-story outposts, each offering views of the sea and surrounding landscape. The new Saint-Tropez property will mark the 13th "Masterpiece Hotel" from Oetker Collection, following the opening of Hotel La Palma in Capri in 2023 and The Vineta Hotel, Palm Beach, debuting in 2025.
Located between the town of Saint-Tropez and the beaches of Pampelonne in Ramatuelle, both a five-minute drive away, the hotel will be rebuilt at the former site of Le Mas Bellevue Hotel Saint-Tropez. The hotel will be designed by French interior designers and architects Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier of Paris-based studio Gilles & Boissier; the architect of the project is Olivier Raffaelli of Triptyque Architecture.
What we know so far: The lobby will showcase textured plaster walls adorned with delicate patterns and a white stone floor, while Roman-inspired arches will stand alongside wooden beams, reminiscent of Provençal farmhouses. The hotel will offer 53 rooms and suites, each with a private terrace or patio, while public facilities call for an oversized infinity pool, a wellness facility, a bar and restaurant offerings with views of the surrounding landscape and the sea.
Additionally, the grounds will display native plants, olive trees and landscaped gardens, furthering the hotel’s commitment to preserving the area’s natural environment.
