The Luxury Collection has announced the opening of The Sira, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Lombok. Located in West Nusa Tenggara province in Indonesia, the resort is a 90-minute drive from Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport. With its debut, The Sira in Lombok becomes the third Luxury Collection property in Indonesia, alongside The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua in Bali and the TA'AKTANA, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Labuan Bajo.
The Sira is framed by the shores of a white-sand beach overlooking Mount Agung. Beyond the grounds, Tiu Kelep Waterfall, Bayan Old Mosque and Sukarara Weaving Village await exploration.
Throughout the property, local craftsmanship is showcased with handwoven tenun ikat fabrics from Lombok and intricately detailed solid teak lattice walls from Java. The resort has 46 suites and 14 pool villas, one of which is a 15,070-square-foot Beach House with three bedrooms and opens to a private plunge pool with direct beach access. Tip: It can even be transformed into a venue for weddings and intimate celebrations. The Presidential Suite is spread over two stories with a full-sized rooftop infinity pool and three bedrooms set in 10,765 square feet of living space.

The resort all offers three restaurants and a bar. At The Island’s Table, the all-day dining restaurant, guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sija, the outdoor eatery by the pool, offers Asian specialties, while Medsa showcases Mediterranean flavors with a selection of Italian, Greek and other cuisines. Glassary, the bar, offers a cocktail menu inspired by local spirits.
Guests can stay active with a workout in the 24/7 Fitness Center, or swim in the two-level, 230-foot outdoor infinity pool. There is also a spa, which has five private rooms where guests can experience Indonesia’s herbal treatments.
