The Strand Opens in Turks and Caicos

The Strand Turks and Caicos has officially opened its doors to welcome guests. Part of The Leading Hotels of the World, the luxury resort community located on 2,230 feet of oceanfront on Cooper Jack Bay in Providenciales offers luxury suites, multi-bedroom villas and private residences, each with ocean views, floor-to-ceiling glass doors, terraces and hand-crafted infinity pools.

The property is one of the most sustainable resorts in the Caribbean with solar integration from local leader Renu Energy TCI providing more than 75 percent of the community’s power and a designated “Pollinator Sanctuary” in partnership with Denver-based Butterfly Pavilion.

The DelMar, The Strand’s restaurant, bar and beach club, houses an outdoor beachfront patio with cabana seating and a kitchen built into the hillside with a living green roof. Specializing in grilled and smoked meat dishes, the menu fuses flavors from Asia, Latin America and the Mediterranean. An adjoining waterfront bar offers a casual menu and specialty cocktails throughout the day. Guests of The Club at The Strand enjoy à la carte services, including butlers, private chefs, special culinary events and more. Amenities include an accessible beach, restaurant and beach club, tennis and pickleball courts, water sports and a private marina, which offers guests access to the resort’s Boston Whaler with a private captain.

Note: A full-service spa and kids’ club will open in the year ahead along with the launch of a “Maestro in Residence” program.

Situated along nearly a half mile of exclusive ocean frontage, The Strand is remote yet easily accessible, only 10 minutes from the Providenciales International Airport and 15 minutes from the Grace Bay Beaches and shopping area.
