Waldorf Astoria New York is now accepting reservations for stays in 2025. Following a seven-year restoration effort led by architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and interior design from Pierre-Yves Rochon, the 375-key property is expected to open its doors in spring 2025.
Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, Waldorf Astoria New York will debut entirely redesigned guestrooms and suites. Beyond their "generous" size—with the majority exceeding 570 square feet—these spaces will blend modern comforts with Art Deco accents. In addition to the guestrooms, Waldorf Astoria New York will open with a 30,000-square-foot spa, plus an updated fitness center and outdoor terrace.
Chef Michael Anthony will serve as the mastermind behind the signature restaurant, Lex Yard, a two-story American brasserie. Peacock Alley, the brand’s signature lounge and bar, has also been refreshed and will return to the heart of the hotel.
Good to know: Waldorf Astoria New York offers 43,000 square feet of event space, including the Grand Ballroom, Jade Room, Astor Salon, Basildon Room and Silver Corridor, which are all being restored to elevate the original Art Deco detailing while modernizing these spaces for the future. Amenities for events will include an on-site event planner and manager, in-house production consultant for entertainment, private Grand Ballroom entrance with elevators, and more.
Following its opening, Waldorf Astoria New York will participate in the Hilton Honors loyalty program.
