African Travel, Inc. has announced its new 2025 escorted tour style, “Concierge Safaris.” These trips are designed to elevate a client’s travel experience by offering a dedicated traveling concierge who will accompany the group throughout their journey.
From the moment guests arrive in Africa to their final farewell, the concierge will handle all the trip logistics, address any requests and ensure a seamless adventure. Tip: To celebrate the launch, African Travel is offering travel advisors a $300 digital gift card incentive for every couple booked on their escorted safaris before March 31, 2025.
The new trip style offers a U.S.-based traveling concierge and includes luxury accommodations, most meals (including unique dining experiences), exclusive game viewing, sightseeing activities and all gratuities. In addition to the concierge, clients are accompanied by local guides at each destination, who will share their insights into the region’s landscapes, diverse wildlife and cultures. Good to know: The new Concierge Safaris are limited to a maximum of 14 guests per tour.
To kick off the Concierge Safaris launch, African Travel, Inc. will be offering two of its popular itineraries, “Southern Explorer” and “Best of Tanzania” on select 2025 departure dates. On the 11-day “Southern Explorer – Escorted” itinerary, guests can experience the best of Southern Africa while staying in the region’s luxury accommodations. They will explore Cape Town’s scenic beauty and culinary scene, encounter the "Big Five" in a private Kruger reserve, and witness Victoria Falls.
This safari offers exclusive culinary experiences, like a 14-course dining and entertainment event at the GOLD Restaurant, a food safari in Cape Town with stops at three distinct locales, and a tour of the Winelands, complete with food and wine tastings. With four nights in Cape Town, four nights on safari and two nights at Victoria Falls, this itinerary offers an exploration of Southern Africa. The package also includes most meals and intra-African flights.
On the 11-day “Best of Tanzania – Escorted” itinerary, guests will explore the Serengeti plains, renowned for the Great Migration of millions of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles, as well as a remarkable population of predators, including 4,000 lions, 550 cheetahs and 1,000 leopards. They will descend 2,000 feet into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact caldera, teeming with wildlife. Guests will experience the flamingos of Lake Manyara and the ancient baobabs of Tarangire National Park, famed for its large elephant herds. This itinerary includes expertly guided game drives, all meals, and unique experiences such as lunch at the crater floor and a night safari at Lake Manyara.
