Fiji Airways has launched the longest nonstop service connecting Dallas with Nadi, Fiji. Initially operating three times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the new service provides the only direct access from Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) to Fiji’s 333 islands via Nadi International Airport (NAN).
Fiji Airways is operating the Airbus A350-900 XWB aircraft on this new route, the addition of which will expand the airline’s network by more than 2,000 seats per week, driving increased tourism opportunities to both North America and Fiji. Marking Fiji Airways’ 26th direct international route, the new DFW-NAN route strengthens the airline’s growing presence in North America, joining existing services from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu and Vancouver.
This new service, according to Fiji Airways CEO and Managing Director Andre Viljoen, will also reduce the time it takes travelers to get from Dallas to Cairns, Australia—the launching point for the Great Barrier Reef—by about three hours.
To celebrate the launch of the service, Fiji Airways is offering round-trip fares to Fiji from $699 per person nonstop from DFW until December 17, 2024. Travelers can also enjoy one-stop round trip fares to Australia from $1,179 and New Zealand from $1,079 via Nadi. Fares are valid for select travel dates until sold out.
Celebrating the launch of Fiji Airways’ DFW-NAN direct route, Tourism Fiji is offering an opportunity for travel advisors to explore Fiji’s 333 islands. The FAM opportunity is being offered in collaboration with Fiji Airways and a lineup of local tourism partners. Designed for 50 travel advisors, this program showcases Fiji’s islands through a range of itineraries tailored to couples, families, dive enthusiasts and luxury travelers.
