Barrière Group has announced the appointment of Pierre Moglen as its new director of sales for North America, based in New York. He will report to Nathaniel Most, VP sales; and Justine Le Clec’h, director of sales international and leisure.
Moglen has vast experience in the luxury hospitality industry. Beginning his career in 2019 as a restaurant manager at Earth Kitchen & Bar in Boston, he went on to become the guest service manager of Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street in Boston. Moglen also served as the cluster sales manager for Rosewood European Collection in New York.
In his new role, Moglen will expand the brand presence in North America and its strategic positioning with the North American markets. He will also drive and implement the sales strategy among key accounts with a major focus on the luxury leisure and consortia agencies by reinforcing relationships with the group’s travel industry peers. Moglen will increase the presence and partnerships of Barrière Group in all segments across North America.

Chaired by Alexandre Barrière and Joy Desseigne-Barrière, the Barrière Group was founded in 1912 by François André and developed by Lucien Barrière, Diane Barrière and Dominique Desseigne. It now operates 32 casinos, one gaming club and 19 luxury hotels in unique destinations, as well as more than 150 restaurants and bars, one of which is the Fouquet’s on the Champs-Elysées, a French brand dating back to 1899, which can now be found in New York, at the Louvre in Abu Dhabi, and in Dubai. The group also puts on 3,500 shows and events every year. The Barrière brand is made up of two groups: Groupe Lucien Barrière (GLB) and Société Fermière du Casino Municipal de Cannes (SFCMC).
